Welcome! I’m Marcelo “Mache” Contreras Cespedes, a digital artisan, musician and passionate preacher. My journey has been enriched with diverse experiences and skills that I am excited to share with you.
Creative Work
With a deep love for music and visual storytelling, I have honed my creative skills over the years.
For several years, I have been engaged in editing and publishing video content for a Christian church. My role encompasses planning, overseeing, and executing live streams of church services and events. Additionally, I lead a team of creative people responsible for managing the church’s social media presence. This involves producing engaging video content, graphic design, and other creative tasks to enhance our outreach and connect with our community effectively. My experience also includes creating and maintaining websites, ensuring they serve as effective platforms for communication and engagement.
For over a decade, I served as a worship pastor/music director, deeply immersed in the musical aspect of christian worship. My responsibilities have included regularly playing and planning musical arrangements for church services and events, leading band rehearsals, and coordinating schedules with different bands to ensure a cohesive worship experience.
Additionally, I have dedicated several years to recording, mixing, and producing music. This has involved working on my own projects as well as collaborating with other musicians to create high-quality music for the church, fostering an engaging and inspirational worship environment through our collective talents. Translation & Proofreading
Language is a powerful tool for connection and communication. I offer professional translation and proofreading services to ensure your message is clear and impactful.
As a bilingual and bicultural Bolivian-American, I navigate the blend of two languages and cultures in my professional work and personal life. My experience in translation is diverse, encompassing the translation of articles, subtitling and dubbing videos, and providing live simultaneous translation for conferences. Additionally, I have expertise in translating and proofreading books, ensuring precision and clarity. My background allows me to effectively bridge linguistic and cultural gaps in a variety of contexts.
Teaching & Pastoring
As a preacher, my mission is to guide and inspire others on their spiritual journey.
With extensive experience in pastoral roles, I have served as a pastoral assistant, youth pastor, and associate pastor, and elder board member. Throughout these years, I have taught classes, led various church groups including youth, marriage, and Bible study groups, and planned and executed church events. My roles have involved preaching sermons regularly, speaking at conferences and spiritual retreats, and passionately teaching in ways that resonate with contemporary culture. My goal is to connect people with God, deepen their understanding of themselves and the world, and encourage them on their faith journey through relevant and impactful teaching.
